Resume Guidelines

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in rejection of the resume and/or termination of the account.

You must be 18+

You must be 18 years old or older to use the SexyJobs.com Network. Do not post resumes that seek out interaction with people who are younger than 18.

Do not post a resume of another person

Do NOT open a jobseeker account and post a resume on behalf of another person. You may only open an account for yourself. If you're a talent agency the talent must set up their own Jobseeker account. No exceptions!

Do not post an insincere resume

If you are not sincerely and genuinely seeking employment in the adult entertainment industry, do not post a resume.

Do not post addresses or other sensitive information

Do not post your (or anyone else's) street address, mailing address, driver's license, social security number or other sensitive legal information. We also suggest you avoid posting your full legal name.

Only provide contact information where specifically requested

Do not post contact information (email addresses, websites, phone numbers, fax numbers, instant messenger IDs, etc.) in any field that does not specifically request such information. You may only post contact information in the fields designated for it.

Do not post copyrighted content without permission from the owner.

Resume Tips

The following tips will help you to post the best resume possible.

Describe yourself and the type of work you're seeking

Instead of saying, "I want a job that pays a lot of money", indicate the type of job you seek and the skills and talents you bring to the job.

Be specific about your qualifications

What makes you unique? What do you have to offer an employer? Focus on the positives.

Be professional, but creative

Have fun with your resume. That way employers will know that you are not just capable of performing the job, but you also will make their workplace more enjoyable.

Keep it brief

No one wants to read your life story. Write enough to catch a potential employer's attention. You can share more details later.

Don't lie!

Honesty can prevent disappointment for both you and your potential employer. Remember, you could end up getting a face-to-face interview sooner than you think, so don't say you weigh 117 pounds if you really are 145 pounds.

Double-check your spelling and grammar

Employers and recruiters are more likely to take your resume seriously if you've put some thought into it. Use proper punctuation and capitalization. Avoid writing in all capital letters or in only lower case characters.

Post a photo

The easiest way to get noticed by employers is to post one or more good quality photos with your resume. (Read our tips for choosing photos.) Remember, only jobseekers who post at least one photo are eligible to become Featured Jobseekers on our site. Read our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more details on how to become a Featured Jobseeker.

Upgrade your resume

The most powerful method to increase your exposure and get more responses from employers is to upgrade your resume to a Gold Jobseeker Ad through the Jobseeker Area by clicking “Upgrade to Gold”. Upgraded resumes are enhanced with a "GOLD Jobseeker" icon and receive increased exposure on the "Find Talent" drop-down.
